After a LONG hiatus of active deviantartness, I'm thinking of coming back. I like being able to get comments and critiques on my artwork, and now that I have a better computer that's actually FAST I'll be able to upload stuff without it taking ages. Plus I'm trying to be less lazy, that's the most important part. Since I'm now doing IB Higher-Level Visual Art (i.e. lots of studio work and keeping track of everything I do in a sketchbook and scary criteria) I think having a few extra opinions here and there would be helpful.

I've noticed myself being more and more interested in fashion and costuming, so I'm hoping that I can start making designs and sewing clothing which I can put up here for the rest of you to see. I've even started doing things with textiles in art class, which I'm hoping to get done fairly soon. I haven't done a whole ton of sewing before now (mostly sewing small items and doing clothing modifications) and I have no idea where to buy patterns here, so I think it might take a bit of a learning curve, but I'm willing to do the work to get there. I've also found some patterns online which I can't print but I can redraw onto paper, so that will help me until I have enough experience to completely draft my own pattern.

Let's see how this goes.
